You can easily search the postings at http://www.CrisisBoard.org by the name and/or location of the person(s) missing.[/color:319ad1160d]
Click on the 'Search' link near the top of any web page[/size:319ad1160d].
[b:319ad1160d][u:319ad1160d]If you are searching for a person who is 'found' or is okay[/u:319ad1160d]:[/b:319ad1160d]
Under 'Search Query', type in the persons name. We suggest also searching by entering the persons first name only, then performing a new search by entering the persons last name only. Try various spellings also.
Under 'Search Options', 'Forum', select 'Let Others Know you are Okay'.
Under 'Search Options', 'Category', select 'I'm Okay!'

Under 'Search Query', type in the persons name. We suggest also searching by entering the persons first name only, then performing a new search by entering the persons last name only.
Under 'Search Options', 'Forum', select 'All Available'. You may also narrow your search by state by selecting (for example) 'I'm looking for people from Louisiana'.
Select 'Category' as 'Katrina Survivor Locator'.

[b:319ad1160d][u:319ad1160d]Also keep in mind that some listings may have been posted in the wrong category.[/u:319ad1160d][/b:319ad1160d]
It may be wise to type in the persons name (lost or found), and under 'Search Options' for both 'Forum' and 'Category' select 'All available'. This will return all postings in every forum containing the name you selected. |
